Welcome to kennel Gelido Vento, a small kennel in Innlandet. We live on Risberget between Elverum and Trysil. We breed Siberian Huskies from 2009. Breeding, showing, dog sledding, outdoor life, are activities that we like to do. Our dogs live as a harmonious pack. We love to take them on long trips, and they love to work with a bike or scooter. All our dogs are also full family members and our true friends, we spend our free time with them. We never sell our adult dogs or rent them out to other kennels, our dogs are our family and when they come to us they are loved and cared for and stay with us until their last days.
We try to breed from well-considered combinations. We follow the breed standard to improve type, movement, expression, health and temperament. We do not breed for fur, coat colors or eye colors. The puppies in our kennel are raised at home and socialized with adults, children and dogs. We look very carefully at all potential homes for our puppies. All our breeding dogs have current clear eye certification, and have their hips tested with the result cleared.
